Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Work closely with product and business teams to identify research topics
  • Experience with research design utilizing various methods including but not limited to usability studies, contextual inquiry, and surveys.
  • Relevant product research experience, either in an end-to-end, usability, or generative setting.
  •  Cross-cultures research experiences
  • Proficient in English
  • Patience and enjoy the multi-national and fast-changing working environment

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience within User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, applied research setting, and/or product research and development.
  • Worked at the agency or consultant firm
  • Experience taking product questions and translating them into actionable research plans
  • Experience in a variety of product spaces applied research and/or academic settings.
  • Proficiency in communicating user research findings with cross-functional partners to drive impact.
  • Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
  • Proficient in other languages as bilingual or trilingual even more. (Mandarin Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Organize and participate in local events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Partnership with local community
  • Host the local UX events
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, local UX groups and UX practitioners
  • Plan and manage ambassador program
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to ensure brand consistency
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Sales team to stay updated on new products and features and collect potential leads
  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Stay up-to-date with UX trends

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • Previous working experience for at least 2 years
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands
  • Ability to interpret online website traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
